Melani Norman is a Chartered Professional Accountant, Certified Management Accountant, (CPA, CMA). She is also a graduate from the University of Waterloo Cooperative Math Program.
In 1989, she received her Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation. In April, 2014, the Society of Management Accountants and the Institute of Chartered Accountants unified their operations, creating the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario. As such, all members are now Chartered Professional Accountants as well.
As a CPA, CMA, Melani Norman is a professional accountant regulated by the official accounting body in Canada. The Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario regulates the education requirements and reviews the work practices of most practitioners in Ontario and is further governed by a national body, the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Melani’s years of experience in retail accounting, pharmaceutical and investment, combined with running her own business, give clients the best assistance possible with accounting and tax.
Her philosophy is to ensure the help she gives her clients best suits the client and the business. She strongly believes that knowledge gives the small business owner an edge to make good business decisions.
